Attempt at minimalist ring...lol. I recently picked up a stunning lot of rose cut tourmalines from @gems_collection_am.k and this icy beauty captivated me right away. A queen deserves a crown, so I chose a tiny salt and pepper rose cut diamond to perch on top in a halo of 14k gold. The tourmaline's bezel is also 14k gold with the band made from sterling silver. I had the great pleasure to make Julia's engagement ring last year. It was only my second engagement ring and I was so honoured (and terrified) that they chose me for the task. It was really cool for me to get it back to fit the shadow band, like reaquainting myself with an old friend. We made Ryan's band to match the cutout of Julia's engagement ring as well. I think it looks like mountains on it's own.

Alastair contacted me back in March to discuss this beautiful engagement / wedding ring. It was a big challenge to source material through the difficulties during the primary lockdown of Covid, but I am happy to say that they FINALLY have their ring.
A riff on the classic Claddagh ring, this will be worn facing out until the wedding and then be turned to face in, signifying Lianna's heart is taken. The knotwork was completely saw pierced by hand into a recycled gold band with a cheery emerald at its center. Congratulations Lianna and Alastair! I wish you a lifetime of love, joy and prosperity.
